What is Mining?

Mining in Influence is the action in which you will load a Core Sample into an Extractor and extract resources from beneath the surface of an asteroid. Mining pushes extracted resources into an available storage facility, which is typically a Warehouse or Ship cargo hold.

Requirements/Prerequisites

• An active crew (preferably one with a Miner within it)
• A Core Sample on the lot you want to mine
• A constructed Extractor on the lot you want to mine
• An available storage facility to put your resources into (in this test phase that should be a constructed Warehouse)
• Testnet ETH (aka GoETH) (it’s free) in your account to complete the action

How to Mine

NOTE: To utilize an Extractor you will need an active Core Sample. If you haven’t taken any Core Samples before, review the Core Sample mechanic in this guide.

SELECT Extractor:

• Once you have an active Core Sample, a completed Extractor on the same lot as the Core Sample, and a completed Warehouse on the same asteroid as the Core Sample and Extractor, select the asteroid.
• Navigate to the building menu located in the right-side menu, under the asteroid’s name, and click on the left button which is titled “List My Buildings”.
